We’re thrilled to announce two more states have approved our online and live-remote learning options for environmental safety training.
CHC Training is on a mission to bring online safety training and recertification to every state in the U.S. Yet, some state regulatory bodies are more progressive than others in approving new online learning formats for safety training re-accreditation.
We accept the challenge of gaining approval for online training courses, state by state. Recently, we’ve had two big wins! Both Vermont and Texas have recently reviewed and approved online re-accreditation training classes. We’ll look forward to welcoming practitioners from these states into our refresher training courses, both in online (asynchronous) and live-remote (synchronous) formats.
Texas
As the saying goes, “everything’s bigger in Texas”, including the online class sizes available to those seeking to re-certify. In December 2022, we gained approval from the Texas Department of State Health Services as a certified asbestos training provider for the following refreshers:

Online courses are offered asynchronously, meaning you and your workforce can enroll anytime and complete the training at your own pace.

Vermont
In addition to offering reciprocity for Lead Risk Assessor certification in a live-remote format, Vermont has recently approved a number of our asbestos refreshers in both an online and live-remote format.
