What you will learn:

The purpose of this program is to ensure the safety of all workers and comply with all federal and state requirements that pertain to confined spaces.

Pursuant to 29 CFR 1926.1207, the employer must provide training to each employee whose work is regulated by the confined space entry standard, and ensure that the employee possesses the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of duties assigned. Training must result in an understanding of the hazards in the permit space and the methods used to isolate, control or in other ways protect employees from these hazards, and for those employees not authorized to perform entry rescues, in the dangers of attempting such rescues.

  • Ideal for entrants, attendants, supervisors, and crews working at permit-required confined spaces
  • Covers both the OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards

*Students are required to bring their safety harnesses to class
