Fulfill the annual renewal requirements to maintain your asbestos air monitoring specialist certification. This is the required annual refresher for the performance of final visual inspections, spill delineation, and/or air monitoring activities referred to in Colorado Regulation No. 8. This refresher course is a Division-approved AMS class and successful completion satisfies the training requirements listed in Regulation No. 8, section II.D.3.a.(i).
As an ongoing minimum requirement to perform final visual inspection, air monitoring, or asbestos spill delineation, the 4 hour initial asbestos air monitoring certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to continue their career in the asbestos consulting industry. This course will explore updates and advancements in inspection and air collection/analysis activities in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to properly place and collect air samples as part of the abatement process. With this certification, the student will be in compliance with the annual renewal requirements of the asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist certification.

The instructor is very easy going and informative. Basics were covered. I do wish there could have been more time to focus on the math. A majority of the class was experienced AMS coming in for their annual and I am preparing for my first attempt at the state test so I didn’t really feel as confident on the material leaving the class as I had hoped. Other than that, CHC is always my first choice recommendation to anyone who is looking to get into the industry.
Great Old School Instructor
Touch on key points we all should know and refresh things we don’t use everyday like insurance, pressure adjustments, and things on the test that are not used much in real application. Otherwise good content.
